Mi-ki Breed History

Height   10 - 11 inches
Weight   up to 10 pounds

Mi-Ki is pronounced Me-Key.

How the now pure bred Mi-Ki originated is filled with mystery and controversy.
Mi-ki history has been the topic of many discussions bringing forth several support clubs, each with differing thoughts.
Much consideration has been given to the Mi-ki and even after
attempts at legal guidelines, there are still varied opinions.  Many myths and theories as to how this extraordinary breed was developed remain. Records were sketchy at best. The founder Maureen "Micky" Macklin kept her notes private and what records were available have been lost over time. Friends and fellow breeders have provided the information we now have,  but conflicting stories remain.  At this point, we do know that the originator discovered and gave us this wonderful Mi-ki breed having a remarkable disposition, a distinct look, and a loving nature.
